M.S. in Chemistry
The Chemistry department is currently not accepting applications to the Master program. Students interested in chemistry graduate studies at WVU should consider applying to the Ph.D. program.
The M.S. program involves advanced coursework (30 credit hours, six of which are research) and a study of a problem in chemical research culminating in the preparation and oral defense of a thesis before the student’s graduate research committee, comprised of the student's advisor and two other chemistry faculty. The thesis must be submitted to the WVU Libraries.
