Dr. George A. O’Doherty, associate professor in the Chemistry Department of the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, was awarded $293,000 in ARRA funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop new bioactive molecules that may fight a range of diseases.

The Chemistry Learning Center provides free tutoring in general chemistry every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7 PM to 10 PM. The CLC is located in 156 Chemistry Research Labs. No appointment is needed.
