Timeline
You should submit your complete application as early as possible. The priority date for admission for the Fall 2009 semester is January 15, 2009. Applications received after March 15, 2009 will be considered on a space available basis. Applications for graduate admission and assistantships are accepted throughout the calendar year.
Application
A complete application contains a WVU graduate application form, a Chemistry Dept. graduate application form (see the link below), three letters of recommendation (see the link below), general GRE scores, transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended. International students must supply the above information and TOEFL scores.
The WVU graduate application form, the transcripts from undergraduate institutions, the official GRE scores, and the TOEFL scores must be sent to WVU Admissions & Records. For processing, you must pay the $50 application fee.
The Chemistry graduate application form and the three letters of recommendation, and copies of the items listed in the preceding paragraph should be sent to the Director of Graduate Studies in the Chemistry Dept at WVU.
